Aleh Yakavitski (Chief Adviser)

 

Aleh is one of the most prominent O&G financial professionals from CIS region. He is based in London since early 1990s. Aleh is a LUKOIL veteran, joining the company in 1997 and holding various executive top management positions at various sections of the company.

At his most recent position Aleh is the Director of Lukoil Capital Markets Ltd, London, where he also oversees special projects team.

Given that about 90% of oil produced in Kaliningrad Region is produced and shipped by Lukoil, Aleh’s position has been crucial for the success of the Company and establishing favourable off-take terms.

Andrey Sergeev (Chief Operating Officer/ Chief Geologist) 

 

 

Andrey began his career over 25 years ago, specialising in geoscience, geological modelling and reserves estimation in projects in Russia, Kazakhstan and Canada. He led the team that discovered significant O&G condensate fields in Eastern Siberia as well as the giant Velikoye Oil Field in the Astrakhan Region of Russia.

Andrey held top technical positions such as Chief Geologist, Head of Project Evaluation and Technical Director in companies like Gazprom, KazMunaiGaz EP Plc, West Siberian Resources and Amoco Eurasia – BP plc., based in Moscow, Houston and Calgary. 

He provides expertise on asset valuations, exploration strategies, project implementations and permitting.

Andrey, member of SPE, holds both PhD in Geology and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Moscow Oil and Gas University. He also earned an MSc Degree in Geosciences from the University of Tulsa, USA and a MSc in Production Engineering from the Tyumen Industrial Institution in Russia.

Andrey, as the Chief Geologist will manage all oilfield control related functions and provide expert geological technical advice and guidance. He will review geological interpretations, models and studies in support of exploration investment proposals. His job scope will include management support of policy and process review to driving improvements and efficiencies, as well as, oversee of 3rd party development of resource model and support the company with annual corporate goals in respect of exploration KPI’s.

 

Rais Abishin (Head of Production)

 

Rais Abishin, a Russian national, has more than 39 years of experience in the O&G industry. He led technical departments in various upstream O&G companies. He is one of the first drillers in western Kazakhstan, completing his first well there in 1971. He has been involved in the full oilfield life cycle for more than 70 oilfields of various sizes.

Rais obtained his Degree in Geophysical Methods of Mineral Exploration from the Almaty Polytechnic Institute, Kazakhstan.  Prior to that, he earned a Degree in Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields from the Oktyabrysky Oil Technical Institute, Russia.

Rais, as the Production Director will responsible for the planning, coordination and direction of all production operations to ensure maximum throughput and quality. His managing activities will include control within a production area to meet production, cost, quality and safety goals. He will plan, organize and implement manufacturing procedures, and will provide budgetary recommendations and coordinate procurement for capital expenditures.

Sjouke Hijlkema (Drilling supervisor)

 

Sjouke, Dutch National. He has over 32 years of oilfield experience and drilling supervision. Held key drilling and management positions in Imperial Energy (Group Drilling Director), supervision manager in TNK-BP and well engineering manager in Shell-Salym, Shell International in Nigeria and Brazil.

Has vast experience in drilling works in CIS region and Western Kazakhstan. Sjouke has been a member of SPE and Federation of European Engineers FEANI since 1993. Sjouke Hijlkema will supervise contractors in the execution of all drilling and associated programmes, ensuring that all objectives are met in a safe and efficient manner and in keeping with all regulatory requirements. He will continually monitor the effectiveness of the ongoing processes and ensure the correctness, content and quality of collected oilfield data.

Galina Chalova (Project management, finance and foreign trade supervision)

 

Galina Chalova, Russian national, has over 16 years of project management, trade and finance in O&G sector. Held top management positions in Siberian and northern Kazakhstan projects, including Imperial Energy, YUKOS EP, Tomskneft and OFS. Holds EMBA from ST-Petersburg State University, and MSc from Tomsk State Univesity and MGIMO. Galina Chalova will assist in the project management of oil and gas projects that are conducted by the team. She will identify streamlines processes to optimize the execution of the operational activities done by the team.

Evgeniy Achkasov (Drilling and workover supervision)

 

Evgeniy has over 23 years of experience in drilling and workover operation in various projects in CIS region. Served as COO for CAToil Drilling, Engineering Director in Rus Imperial Group, Head of Construction and WO operations in Gazpromneft Tomska. Spent over 19 years in Sibneft, mainly Western Siberia projects near Noyabrsk and Muravlenko. Graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic institute, qualified Engineer of Mining. Holds professional certificates from Calgary and Aberdeen courses. Evgeniy as the drilling and workover supervisor will cover all conventional aspects of engineering work. He will further conduct engineering studies, evaluate feasibility and economics of proposed project, resolve existing and potential complex production challenges. His job scope will include monitoring of ongoing production, evaluation of workover design and execution, and interfacing with service companies and regulatory agencies
